Argentina: Man Arrested for Killing Homeless People

In Argentina, a man faces criminal charges for the murder and dismemberment of at least five homeless people at his home in the province of Jujuy. The 37-year-old is accused of multiple homicides with extreme cruelty and has been detained.

The investigation began after reports of disappearances. Bones, blood, pieces of skin, and a human nose were found at the suspect's home. A 16-year-old, allegedly his nephew, testified that his uncle brought people home, offering them work and drinks, before attacking them.

The victims were marginalized homeless people, mostly elderly. Authorities are examining the human remains and collecting biological material from relatives of missing persons for DNA comparisons.
