Athens: Fatal Scooter Accident – 44-Year-Old Dead

A 44-year-old man died in a traffic accident in Athens early this morning when the scooter he was riding collided with a motorcycle at the intersection of Petrou Ralli and Agias Annis streets.

According to initial reports, the man was from Bangladesh. He was taken to Tzaneio Hospital, where doctors were unable to save his life.

Reports indicate that the motorcycle driver fled the scene after the collision.
