Athens-Lamia Highway: Driver Speeds at 230 km/h Under the Influence

A driver was arrested on the Athens-Lamia highway for driving at 230 km/h under the influence of alcohol. The arrest occurred during a 24-hour operation by the Traffic Police.

In total, the Attica Traffic Police conducted 5,528 breathalyzer tests, confirming 91 violations for driving under the influence. Three drivers were arrested with readings above 0.60 mg/l.

According to the Hellenic Police (ELAS), the checks will continue with undiminished intensity.
