Two Migrants Found Dead in Evros: Crossing Attempt Investigated

Two migrants were found dead in the Didymoteicho area, near Nea Vyssa. The deceased are men aged 30-40 years, of unknown nationality.

The two men were transferred unconscious to the hospital, where one was pronounced dead and the other died despite resuscitation attempts. They were found in a riverside area with low temperatures.

Police are investigating the case and an autopsy is expected to determine the causes of death. Authorities are considering the possibility that the migrants attempted to cross the Evros River, which has a high water level and strong currents.
