Investigation into Teacher's Death in Thessaloniki

An investigation and an internal inquiry (EDE) have been ordered into the death of a 57-year-old teacher in a public school in Thessaloniki. The teacher passed away after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke.
Shortly before her death, the teacher had reported incidents of aggressive behavior and bullying by a group of students. In her report, the teacher stated that the students aimed to remove her from the school and requested security measures, such as the presence of police officers and a school psychologist.
The family's lawyer, Μπάμπης Αποστολίδης, claimed that the teacher was under intense pressure and had made repeated complaints. The family is seeking a full investigation of the case and moral vindication.
Authorities are expected to examine the evidence to determine whether there were any responsibilities or omissions in the handling of the complaints.
