Prosecutor Intervention for Video of Youth Throwing Homeless Man into Fountain in Rhodes

A prosecutor has intervened following the release of a video showing a young man pushing a homeless man into a fountain in the old town of Rhodes. The Rhodes Sub-Directorate for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes is conducting a preliminary investigation on the orders of the prosecutor.
The incident took place on June 21, and the video was published on June 22. The alleged perpetrator is of Polish origin and has no prior record with the authorities. The victim, a homeless man, is known in the local community and usually collects coins from the fountain.
