Hand Grenade Explosion in Korydallos: Damage and Disruption

A hand grenade exploded in Korydallos in the early hours, causing disruption and material damage. The incident occurred at the intersection of Peloponnisou and Delfon streets.
The explosion damaged six parked cars, and the shock wave broke windows in apartments of a nearby building. No injuries were reported.
According to the Hellenic Police (ELAS), police forces and a team from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department rushed to the scene and collected remnants of the hand grenade. Police are conducting investigations to identify the perpetrators.
A local resident described the loud bang and the disturbance caused in the neighborhood.
