Criminal Organization Dismantled with Hydroponic Cannabis Lab in Thessaloniki

A criminal organization cultivating and distributing cannabis in Thessaloniki has been dismantled. Police arrested two individuals and seized 2.9 kilograms of raw cannabis and 57 cannabis plants.

According to the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.), a 30-year-old Greek national and a 26-year-old foreign national were arrested. They had set up a fully equipped hydroponic cannabis cultivation laboratory in a two-story house they had rented.

Confiscated items included:

  • Professional hydroponic cultivation laboratory equipment
  • 25 cannabis plants (90-155 cm tall)
  • 5 cannabis plants
  • 20 cannabis plant stems
  • 166 cannabis plant clones (1,585 grams)
  • 2,973 grams of raw cannabis (SKUNK)
  • 5,700 grams of cannabis plant clippings
  • 2 narcotic pills
  • Equipment purchase invoices
  • House rental agreement
  • Mobile phones

A search of the house and the 26-year-old's vehicle revealed additional precision scales and equipment purchase receipts. The vehicle was confiscated. The accused have a history of drug law violations.

The arrested individuals are being led to the competent prosecutor's office.
