Father Antonios Guilty of Abuse at Ark of the World

The Athens Three-Member Court of Appeals found Father Antonios and four of his associates guilty of physical abuse of children at the 'Ark of the World'.

Father Antonios was found guilty of 9 out of the 19 acts he was tried for, while he had been convicted of 5 in the first instance. His associates were also found guilty of acts of aggravated and simple bodily harm, threats and exposure.

The decision on the penalties is pending. In the first instance, Father Antonios had been sentenced to 51 months in prison.
