16-year-old Laura Found in Berlin: "She Had Problems at School," Says Her Father

16-year-old Laura, who had disappeared from Rio, Patras on January 8, was found in a shelter in Berlin. Her father, in statements to MEGA, said that his daughter was facing problems at school.

Laura's father stated that he has not yet spoken with his daughter and that his priority is for her to find peace. "She needs to find her peace first, I need to meet with her and talk," he said characteristically. He also emphasized that everything was fine in the family and the only problem was the school.

According to reports, Laura expressed her desire not to have any contact with her parents and the Greek authorities. The German authorities respect her wish and have informed that she is in good health.

The Hellenic Police (ELAS) found that the minor had recently bought an iPhone and had confided in a friend that she needed money to travel. On February 9, a signal of her presence was detected in Berlin.

Laura's father stated that he will respect his daughter's wish if she does not want to return to Greece, but he will try to find a solution.
