Cepal CEO Theodoros Athanasopoulos Attacked

The CEO of Cepal, Theodoros Athanasopoulos, was attacked by unknown individuals on Syngrou Avenue.

According to a statement, Mr. Athanasopoulos was taken to Evangelismos Hospital, where he received first aid. He then testified at the Extortion Department of the Organized Crime Division.

Mr. Athanasopoulos stated that he had not received any threats, but mentioned two cases of property owners who had caused problems for the company.

Cepal condemned the attack and stated that it is cooperating with the authorities to investigate the incident.
