Fatal Shooting in Chania: Bullet to the Heart Kills 52-Year-Old

A 52-year-old man lost his life in Chania after a shooting attack. The forensic examination revealed that a bullet to the heart was fatal.

The 23-year-old perpetrator faces criminal charges for intentional homicide in a calm mental state. The perpetrator himself pointed out to the police the location where he had hidden the weapon.

The 23-year-old's lawyer, Giorgos Frantzeskakis, stated that his client is shocked and remorseful for his actions.

The 23-year-old was taken to the Chania courts wearing a bulletproof vest and is expected to testify next Saturday.
