Fatal Stabbing in Agios Dimitrios: 20-Year-Old Sailor Arrested

A tragic incident occurred in Agios Dimitrios, where a 27-year-old man lost his life in a meeting that turned into a fatal altercation. A 20-year-old sailor has been arrested as the perpetrator, along with three other individuals.

According to reports, the victim had a past relationship with the young woman who was now involved with the perpetrator. Rivalry over the woman appears to have been the cause of the deadly meeting in Asyrmatou Park.

The 20-year-old sailor voluntarily appeared at the GADA (Athens Police Headquarters) and was arrested, along with an 18-year-old friend who was present at the scene. The prosecutor also ordered the arrest of the two girls for harboring the suspect. Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the meeting was organized and the communications of those involved.

According to the ELAS (Hellenic Police), the perpetrator had been arrested in the past for possession of a knife. The case is under investigation.
