Car Fire on Athens - Sounion Coastal Road

A car caught fire on the Athens - Sounion coastal road, in the Althea area, causing disruption to drivers.

Two fire trucks with six firefighters rushed to the scene, as well as a police patrol car to regulate traffic.

The driver of the vehicle managed to get out in time, while the car suffered serious material damage. The Fire Department announced that the fire was extinguished by 6 firefighters with 2 vehicles in the municipality of Kropia Attica.
