Fire in Abandoned Building on Liosion Street – Traffic Interrupted by ELAS

A fire broke out in an abandoned building on Liosion Street shortly after 7:00 PM on Sunday. The Fire Department, with nine firefighters and three vehicles, rushed to the scene and found that materials, mainly garbage, were burning inside the building.

The EL.AS. (Hellenic Police) interrupted traffic on Liosion Street, from the height of Ipirou Street. Around 7:45 PM, the flames were brought under control, but Fire Department forces remain in the area.
