G. Tsagarakis: New Photos from Gallery and Seized Items

New photos have been released showing paintings and cash seized from the gallery of Giorgos Tsagarakis, following a raid by the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.).
According to the police, hundreds of paintings, five amphorae, two Byzantine icons, and a Gospel were confiscated. The raid took place in shops and warehouses in Kolonaki, Glyfada, and Elliniko.
Mr. Tsagarakis was arrested and faces charges for four felonies and one misdemeanor, including embezzlement of ancient monuments and fraud. He claims he is innocent.
Authorities estimate that only seven of the 300 seized paintings are genuine. Approximately ā¬200,000 in cash was also confiscated.
Tsagarakis has been granted a deadline to respond to the charges on Tuesday.
