Glyfada: Neighbor's Testimony on the Tragic Death of a 56-Year-Old Due to Flooding

A tragic testimony from a neighbor regarding the death of a 56-year-old teacher in Glyfada during a recent storm has shocked the local community.

The woman, an eyewitness to the incident, described how the teacher was returning home when she learned that her house was flooding. In her attempt to cross the street, she was swept away by the rushing waters.

"My boss shouted 'No!', she didn't have time to hear us, with the 'no' the current takes her, sweeps her away and throws her under the car," the neighbor told a television station.

The witness added that the streets had turned into torrents and the Fire Department was delayed in arriving due to the difficulty of accessing the area, at the intersection of Kyrillou and Methodiou streets in Ano Glyfada.

The unfortunate teacher, co-owner of a tutoring center, drowned when she became trapped under a car.
