Heraklion: 57-Year-Old Dies in Sewage Tank – Three Arrests

A 57-year-old man died in Heraklion after falling into a sewage tank in Dafnes. According to the forensic report, the cause of death was sewage aspiration and drowning.

The victim was a father of three and originally from Albania. His body will be transferred to Vlorë for burial.

Police have made three arrests: the legal representative of the company, the head of the damage department, and the head of operations of DEYAH. All were released pending a preliminary investigation.

The family's lawyer stated that it was a "horrific and unjust death" and demanded justice.
