Ivan Greko: Lawyer Denies Parole Violation Rumors

The lawyer of trapper Ivan Greko denies rumors of parole violation after his arrest in Glyfada. According to the lawyer, claims that Greko was wearing an "ankle monitor" and violated restrictive conditions are unfounded.
Ivan Greko was arrested in Glyfada on Saturday afternoon when police officers inspected a vehicle that had been reported stolen. During the search, a 28-year-old was arrested for possession of a small amount of cannabis, while Greko and another person were arrested for receiving stolen goods.
Ivan Greko's lawyer, Petros Pantazis, stated that since December 17, 2025, the house arrest with electronic monitoring has been replaced by other conditions, such as a ban on leaving the country and mandatory appearance at the local police station.
It is recalled that Ivan Greko had been released from prison in the past with electronic surveillance for the kidnapping of a pawnbroker.
Ivan Greko's arrest occurred during a vehicle check on Cyprus Street in Glyfada.
