Jesse Van Ruutschelaar initially killed her mother, Jennifer Strang, 39, and her 11-year-old half-brother, Emmett, at their home. She then went to Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, where she shot and killed six more people before committing suicide.
The victims include 12-year-old Kaylie Smith, 12-year-old Abel Muanza, 12-year-old Zoe Benoit, 12-year-old Tikaria Lambert, 13-year-old Ezekiel Schofield, and 39-year-old teacher Sanna Aviguna-Durand.
