Significant developments in the Predator spyware case, with the Greek justice system convicting Tal Dilian, Sara Hamou, Felix Bitzius, and Yannis Lavranos.

The four were found guilty of interfering with a personal data filing system, violating the confidentiality of telephone communications, and illegally accessing an information system. A prison sentence of 126 years and 8 months was imposed, which was merged to 8 years, suspended until the appeal is heard.

Court President Nikos Askianakis stated that the defendants committed the acts with common intent. Prosecutor Dimitris Pavlidis recommended that no mitigating circumstances be granted, due to the size of the operation and the knowledge of the illegal use of Predator.

According to reports, the court linked the case to espionage in favor of Israel. Tal Dilian is the founder of the Intellexa Group.

Victims of the surveillance included Makis Voridis, Adonis Georgiadis, Kostis Hatzidakis, and others.
