Katerini: Tax Official Arrested for Bribery

A tax official was arrested in Katerini by the Internal Affairs Division of the Northern Greece Security Forces, accused of bribery, false certification, and violation of weapons laws.
According to police, the tax official requested and received 1,000 euros from a bakery owner to cancel a tax audit. During a search of his car and home, two stamps and a bayonet were found.
Furthermore, it was found that the arrested official had not participated in audits of his service in the last three years. The arrested person was led to the competent prosecutor's office.
