Kiato: Retired Air Force Officer Arrested with "Arsenal"

A retired Air Force officer was arrested in Kiato after an entire "arsenal" was found in his possession. According to ERT, the "Greek FBI" discovered over 100 weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition at the 69-year-old's home. His wife was also arrested.

The arrested man allegedly claimed to be a collector. However, authorities are investigating the possibility that he was collaborating with a major arms dealer and involved in a case recently handled by the Greek FBI in Aspropyrgos.

Authorities are investigating whether the 69-year-old had set up an illegal workshop to convert weapons into functional ones and reload cartridges.
