Kilkis: Arrests for Burglaries Using Climbing Method – Over €36,000 Stolen

In Kilkis, a foreign national and a local man were arrested for aggravated theft. The two men committed 7 apartment burglaries from November 7 to December 13, 2025, using the climbing method to enter the homes.

According to the police, the perpetrators broke into balcony doors and windows, stealing a total of €10,100 in cash, as well as jewelry and other items worth €26,100. In addition, they attempted to burglarize two more homes, without success.

Police officers located the two men while they were trying to enter an apartment. During the arrest, they resisted. Stolen goods, burglary tools, gloves, a full-face mask, car keys, a mobile phone, and €80 in cash were found in their possession. A stolen vehicle they were using was also confiscated.

Police are continuing their investigations to determine if they were involved in other similar acts.
