Mother of 20-year-old Kleomenis Speaks Out Against Fan Violence

The mother of 20-year-old Kleomenis, who lost his life in Kalamaria, has issued a heartbreaking written statement through her lawyer, seeking justice for her child's soul.

In her statement, the mother appeals to anyone who was present or knows anything about the incident to speak to the authorities. "Do not let silence cover the crime that took my child from me," she emphasizes.

She also asks the media to stop reproducing the video showing her son at the moment he loses consciousness, as well as any attempt to tarnish his memory.

"Blind fan violence did not just take a life, it took my whole world, my flesh and blood, my very existence," she says.

Finally, she declares her full confidence in the Greek Justice system and the authorities to fully clarify the case, while announcing that she has appointed lawyer Mr. Spyratos Paraskevas as her official representative.
