Crete: Car Hits and Kills 81-Year-Old Man

A tragic road accident occurred in Crete, where an 81-year-old man lost his life after being hit by a car.

The incident happened in the early hours of Monday in the Mires area, when the unfortunate man tried to cross the road. The circumstances under which the accident occurred remain unknown.

Passing drivers notified the authorities, and an EKAV ambulance rushed to the scene. Unfortunately, the paramedics could not offer any assistance, as the elderly man had already passed away.
