Crete: 70-year-old Found Alive in Heraklion

A 70-year-old man, who had been missing since last Thursday, was found alive in a field near Agia Irini Chrysovalantou, in the Heraklion region of Crete.

The 70-year-old's family had reported his disappearance to the authorities, stating that in their last communication, he was unable to orient himself. Police, firefighters, and volunteers participated in the search.

The man, for whom a Silver Alert had been issued, was transported by an EKAV ambulance to a hospital.
