Crete: Search restarts for missing 33-year-old doctor

The search has restarted for the 33-year-old doctor who went missing in Crete 38 days ago. A team of volunteers from the Friends of Hunters of Akti Thermaikos Group, equipped with drones, thermal and underwater cameras, and trained dogs, is on the island.

The volunteers are searching inch by inch the area of Fre, where the 33-year-old was last seen. They are thoroughly examining abandoned houses, wells, and even swimming pools. The doctor's trail was lost on Sunday, December 7, in the Chania area.

Despite the continuous efforts of the authorities, rescuers, volunteers, and the family, no trace of the missing man has been found.
