The prosecutor of Larissa has ruled out foul play in the death of 39-year-old psychologist Vasilis Kalogirou, attributing his death to pathological causes. This decision contradicts the family's claims of abduction and murder.

According to the forensic report, the findings strongly suggest fatal hypothermia as the cause of death. The police investigation found no evidence of criminal activity, dismissing the statement of support for the prosecution by the deceased's father.

Vasilis Kalogirou had been missing since December 30, 2024. He was found dead on February 17 in the "Tsatalar" area of Platanoulia, near Larissa. The forensic report found no pre-mortem injuries and estimated that death occurred a few days after his disappearance.
