Lesbos: Migrant Shipwreck – Two Dead, Seven Rescued

The coast guard was alerted following a shipwreck involving a boat carrying illegal migrants in Lesbos. The rescue operation is underway in the sea area southwest of Cape Agrielia.

According to initial reports, two people were found unconscious, while seven have been rescued. The operation involves an offshore patrol vessel of the coast guard, a Super Puma helicopter, and a coast guard vehicle from land.
