Lefkada: Two People Missing While SUP – Alert

An alert has been issued in Lefkada as two people are missing while SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding). The two tourists sent a distress signal via 112, reporting that strong winds swept them offshore, southwest of the island.

Searches are underway coordinated by the National Center for Coordination of Research and Rescue (EKSDE) of the Coast Guard. Three Coast Guard vessels and private boats are participating in the search.
