Aulis Robbery: Thief Steals Shoes, Money, and Goes Shopping with Card

A thief in Aulis broke into a parked van, stealing the owner's shoes, money, and bank card. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, between 6:00 and 6:30 AM.

According to ERTnews, the perpetrator broke the van's window and removed the items. He then used the stolen card to make purchases at a kiosk and gas station in Paralia Avlidas, after erasing the cardholder's name with a marker.

The owner realized the theft when he received charge notifications on his mobile phone. Approximately 80 euros were charged to the card. Police have launched an investigation and have security camera footage showing the perpetrator wearing the stolen shoes.

Following the publication of the incident, citizens contacted the victim reporting similar thefts in the area. Investigations are ongoing to locate and arrest the perpetrator.
