A mass poisoning of 21 dogs has caused shock in the local community of Halkidiki. The incident occurred in Vavdos, where 21 dogs, 14 adults and 7 puppies, were found dead after consuming poisoned baits.

The animals were under the supervision of a local livestock breeder. The Municipality of Polygyros, headed by Mayor Giorgos Emmanouil, condemned the incident and has already filed a lawsuit against unknown perpetrators.
