Major Flare-Up in Helidoni, Ilia Region

Firefighting forces are battling a major flare-up in the Helidoni, Ilia region, where a fire broke out yesterday, threatening populated areas and causing damage.

A total of 134 firefighters are operating in the area, with 6 teams of foot patrols and 46 vehicles, while 6 firefighting aircraft and two helicopters are assisting from the air.
