Messara: "Arsenal" Found in House and Warehouse – Two Arrests

Police authorities in the Municipality of Faistos, Messara, have arrested two men, aged 67 and 29, for illegal possession of weapons. Searches of a house and warehouse revealed an entire "arsenal".

Specifically, 2 military rifles, 9 pistols, 7 hunting rifles, 648 cartridges of various types, as well as other weapons and ammunition, were confiscated. The operation was carried out by the Messara Police Operations Department, in cooperation with the Heraklion Security Directorate, following information about reckless gunfire in the Voroi area.

Investigations are continuing to determine whether the seized weapons are related to other illegal activities. The Faistos Police Department is conducting the preliminary investigation.
