Missolonghi: Municipal Employee Assaulted During Flood Relief Efforts

An unprecedented incident occurred in Missolonghi on Thursday when a municipal employee was attacked while on duty, as the city faced flooding due to heavy rainfall.

According to a post by Deputy Mayor Christos Vourvasis, the employee, who was at the forefront of flood relief efforts, was attacked by ten people. The employee was beaten and is hospitalized with injuries.
