New York: Mother Arrested 5 Years After Twin Infants Found Dead

Five years after the bodies of twin infants were discovered in New York, police have arrested 36-year-old Stephanie Castillo, the children's mother, as a suspect in their murder.
The twins, named Zeke and Zane by the police, were found in November 2020 in a yard in the Bronx. One infant had suffered head trauma, while the other was wrapped in a garbage bag.
Castillo's identification was made through DNA analysis from a beverage container she had discarded. The police had organized a funeral for the twins in 2021, and the case had shocked the local community.
Castillo faces charges of intentional homicide, infanticide, and negligent manslaughter.
