Man Found Dead on ISAP Railway Tracks in Rizoupoli

A man was found dead within the perimeter of the ISAP (Athens-Piraeus Electric Railways) railway tracks in the Rizoupoli area, between Ano Patissia and Perissos stations. The Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) are investigating the cause of death.

According to an announcement by STA.SY., Perissos and Pefkakia stations are temporarily out of service, with train services running between Piraeus – Ano Patissia and Nea Ionia – Kifissia. EL.AS., Fire Department, and ambulance services responded to the scene.

Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from STA.SY. and local businesses to determine the circumstances under which the man was found at the location and died. A forensic examination is expected to determine the time and cause of death.
