Gary Busey Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assault

Actor Gary Busey has pleaded guilty to sexual assault, admitting to inappropriately touching a woman at an event in New Jersey three years ago.

The 81-year-old was accused of harassment and inappropriate behavior at Monster-Mania Con in August 2022. He initially denied the charges but later pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault via Zoom.

The sentencing is expected next month. Busey's lawyer stated that the actor wishes to put the matter behind him.

Busey was nominated for an Oscar for his role in 'The Buddy Holly Story' (1978) and has appeared in other films such as 'Lethal Weapon' and 'D.C. Cab'.
