Palaio Faliro: Criminal Act Investigation into Girl's Death

The Homicide Department of the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) has taken over the case of the three-year-old girl found dead in the Edem area of Palaio Faliro, due to indications of a criminal act.

The forensic examination revealed injuries on the child's body. The forensic report has been handed over to the police, which is investigating the case as a possible homicide.

The Coast Guard had appealed for information regarding the identity of the girl, who was found dead on Sunday, July 27, 2025, on Edem beach. The girl, aged 3 to 3.5 years, was wearing a long-sleeved turquoise and fuchsia swimsuit, had short brown hair, a thin build, and tanned skin.
