Palaio Faliro: 32-year-old to be questioned over daughter's death

The 32-year-old Algerian woman, who confessed to abandoning her 3-year-old daughter on Edem beach in Palaio Faliro, is being led to the Investigator. The mother faces charges of Intentional Homicide in a Calm Mental State and Domestic Dangerous Bodily Harm.

The woman was transferred from the Floisvos Coast Guard Station to the Courts of the former Evelpidon School. Blood stains found at the family's home in Patissia belong to the little girl, strengthening suspicions of criminal activity.

Initially, the mother claimed that the child hit herself in the bathroom and then transferred her to the beach. Later, she changed her version, saying that the child slipped into the sea. According to Mega, the 32-year-old allegedly told the coast guards that she entered the sea with the baby and left her there.

In her deposition, the woman stated that the child fell in the bathroom and had head injuries. She stated that she was panicked and decided not to notify anyone, fearing that they would accuse her.
