Palaio Faliro: Death of 3-Year-Old – Mother Under Investigation

New evidence has emerged in the case of the death of a 3-year-old in Palaio Faliro. The forensic report, according to forensic expert Dimitris Galenteris, reveals indications of criminal activity.

Mr. Galenteris stated that water and sand were found in the child's lungs, indicating drowning on a beach. Injuries were also found on the child's face that do not match the mother's claims.

The 27-year-old mother, of Algerian origin, claims that the child was injured in the bathroom and, fearing due to her illegal stay, transferred her to the sea. The woman is expected to be brought before the prosecutor today. Searches were carried out at her home in Kato Patisia, and she had previously been involved with the authorities for endangering a minor.

The family's two minor boys are expected to be transferred to a juvenile protection facility.
