Patras: Fatal Motorcycle Accident – Driver Had Criminal Record

A 46-year-old motorcycle driver, who had served sentences for theft and drug offenses, ran over and killed an 86-year-old woman in Patras. The tragic incident occurred when the driver, according to eyewitnesses, ran a red light and then accelerated.

The elderly woman reportedly protected an 8-year-old child, sacrificing her life. The child's father referred to the woman's self-sacrifice in a social media post.

The 46-year-old was arrested by the Traffic Police and taken to the Patras prosecutor's office. He was given time to apologize on Tuesday.
