Patras: 15-Year-Old Injured After Firecracker Explodes in Hand

A 15-year-old student was injured in Patras when a firecracker exploded in his hand. The incident occurred in Paralia, Patras, and the minor was taken to the hospital.

According to Patrapress.gr, the student found the firecracker outside the 1st EPAL Paralias and, in an attempt to light it, it exploded. The 15-year-old was injured in three fingers and underwent stitches. There was no risk of amputation.

His mother was arrested for neglect of minor supervision.
