A 72-year-old woman in Piraeus had her leg amputated following a traffic accident involving a bus. The woman was hit by a bus on Grigoriou Lambraki Avenue.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman tried to board the bus, but the driver did not notice her and started driving, resulting in her being dragged. Her health condition remains critical, and she is hospitalized at Attikon Hospital. Doctors proceeded with the amputation of her right leg.

The 72-year-old's niece told MEGA that there is a high probability that she will die. The Piraeus Traffic Police are conducting a preliminary investigation into the causes of the accident.
