Port Authority Officer Jailed for Child Molestation in Volos

A 58-year-old Port Authority officer was remanded in custody on Wednesday (12/11) in Volos, accused of molesting underage boys.

The case file includes charges of sexual acts with minors for money, both completed and attempted. An accomplice, a private individual, is also allegedly involved.

The investigation revealed that the officer had been involved in similar acts in the past. A mobile phone and bedding were confiscated from his home and vehicle and sent for laboratory examination.

Furthermore, he is charged with dereliction of duty and bribery, along with two citizens and a 56-year-old Lieutenant Commander, who is expected to be referred to the Naval Court and plans to retire.
