Ptolemaida: 54-year-old stabs his brother after a fight

A 54-year-old man is accused of attempted murder in Ptolemaida after attacking and injuring his 49-year-old brother with a knife.

The incident occurred on Friday morning, following an argument in the apartment where the two men reside. The 54-year-old allegedly attacked his brother with a knife, injuring him in the right thigh, chest, and ear.

The injured man was taken to the General Hospital of Ptolemaida "Bodosakeio", where he received first aid. The knife allegedly used in the attack was confiscated by the police.

A case file was opened against the 54-year-old for attempted intentional homicide and violation of weapons laws.
