Fire in Abandoned Building in Nea Ionia

A fire broke out in an abandoned building at the intersection of Rimini and El. Venizelou streets in Nea Ionia. The fire department was notified of the incident shortly before midnight on Monday.

16 firefighters with 4 vehicles, as well as a special aerial ladder vehicle, are operating at the scene. Firefighters are making efforts to contain the fire to prevent it from spreading to adjacent buildings.
