Renti: 85-year-old threatened students with air gun outside school

Tension arose at a school in Agios Ioannis Rentis when an 85-year-old man threatened students with an air gun. According to the complaint of the principal of the 3rd Gymnasium of Agios Ioannis Rentis, the man, a resident of the area, allegedly brandished the weapon to intimidate students who were outside the school.

Police officers of Immediate Action rushed to the scene and apprehended the 85-year-old. A rifle was found and confiscated at his home. The man claimed that he acted in this way because he was annoyed by the students.

No injuries were reported from the incident. The case is under investigation by the Agios Ioannis Rentis Crime Prosecution and Investigation Department.
