Rhodes: Woman and Child Found Dead on Beach – Migrant Abandonment

Tragedy in Rhodes: A woman and a child were found dead on Mavros Kavos beach on Saturday (30/8), victims of a migrant smuggling ring.

According to reports, a dinghy carrying twelve people abandoned the passengers near the shore. Ten people managed to reach land, but the woman and child drowned.

The Central Port Authority of Rhodes is investigating the exact circumstances of the tragic incident.
